This policy explains what JCL Energy collects when you use jcl.energy, why, and what control you have. It covers this website only — not information you give us over the phone, by email, or in the course of a contract.

Information you give us

We collect information when you choose to send it through a form on this site. That includes our quote request, contact, equipment rental, surplus equipment, newsletter signup, and credit application forms.

What we receive is whatever you enter — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, and the details of your equipment or service need. Credit applications collect additional business and trade-reference information needed to open an account.

Alongside your submission we record the page you submitted from and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through (for example utm_source), so we know which of our pages and campaigns are useful.

We use this information to respond to your request, prepare quotes, and manage your account. Submissions are stored in our own database and delivered to HubSpot, the customer relationship management system our sales team works in. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Information collected automatically

With your consent, where consent is required, we use two analytics services to understand how the site is used:

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic measurement: pages viewed, referring sources, approximate location, device and browser.
• FullStory — session capture, which records how visitors move through pages so we can find confusing layouts and broken flows.

Both set cookies or similar local storage. Neither is used to build advertising profiles.

Your cookie choices

Non-essential analytics cookies are subject to your choice, and we apply the stricter standard where the law requires it:

• In the EEA, the UK, and EFTA countries, analytics is off until you accept. Google Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode with analytics storage denied by default for these regions, and session capture does not start at all until you explicitly accept.
• Elsewhere, including the United States and Canada, analytics is on by default and you may decline at any time.

Whichever region you are in, the choice you make in our cookie banner takes precedence and is remembered in your browser’s local storage. To change or withdraw it, clear this site’s storage in your browser settings and the banner will ask again. Declining does not limit your access to any part of the site.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and the records created from them for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, fulfil a contract, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the services above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to particular uses. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing at any time — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Children

This site serves a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
